Materials - Positioners can be made of:

Coatings - Creative Foam Medical Systems offers a unique vinyl coating product known as Polyscan™. This distinctive product can coat both open and closed-cell foams, forming a high-strength bond so that the coating becomes an integral part of the foam cushion. Polyscan™ can be produced in any color you desire and screen printing is available.
Our manufacturing process ensures that Polyscan™ is applied in an extremely smooth, seamless finish. Coating is done by hand spraying and/or with an automated dipping system that allows us to completely coat virtually any positioning product.
Not only is the coating aesthetically pleasing, but it makes our positioners easy to wipe clean, without textures or seams to harbor bacteria. Polyscan™ coating creates a fluid-proof barrier that resists betadine, iodine, blood and other contaminants.
Regardless of the shape or configuration of the foam, Polyscan™ totally encapsulates it with tough, durable vinyl, making products reusable and repairable.
Polyscan™ also minimizes the appearance of the sharp angles and curvatures of the positioner, thus reducing the detection of foreign artifacts.
Products - Coated products include leg bolsters, arm holders, wedges and others. Uncoated products include disposable kits and custom positioners. Non-magnetic compartmentalized totes hold positioners for convenient transport and use in imaging suites.
